mom

What’s more soothing

Than a new borns laughter ?

They asked me

I smiled with epiphany

What’s fresher than the

Freshly fallen snow?

What Elevates us?

when we’re low

All I could think of was my mom’s face

 I ascertained

Seeing me smile

Her face blooms like

Flowers fallen in the winds of spring

 who thinks bout others

Before her own grace

the most beautiful thing on earth? it’s her face!

And yet it’s nothing compared

to her heart

She resides in my soul

Even if we’re ever physically apart

Her compliments make me forget the world’s applause

Seeing her smile is my steady heartbeat

In the crowds of millions of voices,

Hers is the one that sings
